Passion for Pets Rescue (PPR) is a non-profit, insured and state licensed rescue, run by volunteers. We are a small group of like minded folks with big hearts. PPR does not have an actual shelter, all of our dogs are in foster homes in Maine or with our Southern and Mid-western partners. We work with potential adopters in Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts.
PPR covers all medical expenses. The majority of the dogs we rescue require immediate veterinary care. Skin infections and internal parasites are common occurrences. We pay for all spay & neuter surgeries. PPR makes sure all dogs are given age appropriate vaccinations, as well as, preventative medication for heartworm and external parasites.
